“Openbaar, Montessori, Dalton, Waldorf, Jenaplan … I’m confused!” is a statement I often hear from international parents. Usually this is followed by the question: “How do I know which type is the best one for my daughter? She’s barely three years old!”

Although I think it is nice to have so much choice for education, I agree with you that the system is rather complicated. In this video, I’ll give you some background info on the Dutch education system and explain the educational philosophies many Dutch schools are based on.
