NEW2SCHOOL EVENT – Sunday, 18 September

Will your children start school in the Netherlands soon? Exciting!

I hope that they will make a positive start. No doubt you’ll have a lot of experiences to share, and plenty of questions to ask. If so, then this New2school event is for you!

On Sunday, 18 September between 2 and 3:30 pm, we invite all new international families to Hotel Arena in Oosterpark in Amsterdam-East, where you can share your stories of the first 3 weeks with other families who are also new2school. I, Annebet van Mameren from New2NL, will be ready to answer all your questions related to education in the Netherlands.

Because of forecasted rain on Sunday, we had to find an alternative location (replacing Artisplein).

We’ll try and sit on the terrace under the canopy. Then you’ll have a view on the park in case the children would like to play there. If the rain is too bad, we’ll move indoors. Look for the small New2NL banner.

I’ll be waiting for you with some delicious, locally produced bites. Additional food and drinks are at your own expense. The education information is for free (of course…).

You may walk-in as you please, between 2 and 3:30 pm.

This event is open to children from all types of school, and of all ages, and of course their parents.
